Despite Taylor Swift having rocked up to countless NFL games to support her partner Travis Kelce, one of the Kansas City Chiefs’ teammates seemingly still can’t wrap his head around their romance.
Xavier Worthy, a close friend to tight-end Travis, appeared utterly blindsided by one aspect of the singer‘s attendance at their game against the Buffalo Bills last night (26 January), after seemingly getting distracted by one key detail.
As we say, chart-topping musician’s Taylor joined Travis’ mum Donna on the sidelines of the KCC game against the Buffalo Bills last night. The 2024 Super Bowl winners secured themselves a spot at next weekend’s NFL championships final.
Several clips from the colossal victory have since gone viral on social media, including one of Taylor offering some sweet words of encouragement to Travis following the game.
The clip was shared on TikTok by the official NFL channel, and showed the couple holding one another closely at the waist whilst celebrating on the field, going on to plant a series of kisses on one another’s lips.
Lip reader Jeremy Freeman believes the ‘Bad Blood’ singer then whispered in the sportsman’s ear something along the lines of, ‘That was stunning’.
Though he admits he can’t be sure, he believes that Taylor then said something like, ‘You stopped the catch-up’, which Jeremy says could be an American football reference, before telling him: “You were sublime. Out of this world. That was great.”
As we say, another viral recorded moment from last night’s festivities have also been doing the rounds online, showing KCC’s wide-receiver Xavier Worthy looking utterly blown-away to see Taylor on the field.
Despite only being four seconds long, the clip shows the bobble hat-wearing singer greeting and hugging the team’s coach Andy Reid, her back to the camera.
Worthy, meanwhile, stands behind her, and gets close to the camera, where he bursts into a fit of laughter after becoming distracted by one aspect of her appearance.
“She’s taller than me!” he teases, before continuing to laugh.
It is believed that the 35-year-old ‘Cruel Summer’ musician is a rather impressive 5’10”, while 21-year-old Worthy is 5’11”.
Despite the pair only having a one inch different, that notion appeared to utterly shock the sportsman in a clip which has now gone viral.
Sharing the video, one fan of the celebrity power couple jibed: “Worthy being gagged by her height – ‘she taller than me’ lmaoooooo”, alongside a stream of laughing-crying emojis.
Another viewer of the footage simply quoted Worthy writing online: ‘”she’s taller than me”, adding a series of ‘dead/skull’ emojis to express their amusement.

Thankfully, it’s likely that Worthy’s remark would have been taken in jest by the 14-time Grammy-winner, who previously showed him her support after he was made an official member of the KCC.
When the announcement was made on the team’s official Instagram, Taylor ‘liked’ the post, with a fan joking in the comments: “Taylor already planning to make Worthy his fave baked good and send Travis to work with it in a Tupperware [laughing emoji].”
“WTFFF TAYLOR LIKED THE POST???” another joked at the time.
“She just released [‘The Tortured Poets Department’] but instead of promoting it she’s sitting at home watching @chiefs’s draft??? Girlie is into football.”

Earlier this year, she predicted what gal pals Selena Gomez and Taylor were gossiping about during the 2024 Golden Globes, believing they were chatting about new couple on the scene Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.
And just weeks before that, Jackie read the lips of The Hunger Games prequel’s Rachel Zegler reportedly complaining about the paparazzi, and of The O.C.‘s Adam Brody, whilst he is said to have joked about his Gossip Girl wife’s Leighton Meester’s red carpet posing.

This week, Jackie has hit the headlines once again for her assessment of chart-topper Taylor Swift’s recent comments about sportsman boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Whilst appearing at teammate Patrick Mahomes’ The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala, 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star Travis broke into a rendition of Elvis Presley’s 1964 hit ‘Viva Las Vegas’.
This isn’t the first time that the athlete – who went public with his musician beau in September last year – has burst into this specific number, however.
And according to lip-reader Jackie, Taylor may be becoming rather sick of the performance.
Prior to revealing her prediction, however, the online star thought it best to give her viewers some disclosure.
“Lip reading is not a reliable form of communication and all statements are alleged,” she told her fans.
In the clip, whilst her NFL hunk breaks into song, Taylor reportedly says to a friend sitting nearby, ‘that again’, before claiming, ‘I can’t do it’, and shaking her head from side to side.
The singer’s allegedly savage remark comes just days after her latest album The Tortured Poet’s Society hit the shelves, with many fans subsequently speculating which songs are about her latest squeeze Travis.
Many are under the impression ‘The Alchemy’ is about him, being that Taylor sings: “Shirts off, and your friends lift you up, over their heads / Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said / ‘There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league’ / Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me.”
And apparently, Travis’ proud mother Donna is under the same impression, telling press last week: “I know there are a few [songs] that some people think are about Travis but we’ll just see.”
She went on: “You know, I’ll have to ask her when I see her.”
