A Dallas Cowboys icon is hanging up the cleats for good.
On Tuesday Cowboys All-Pro guard Zack Martin informed the team that he plans to retire after 11 seasons of sterling play on the Dallas offensive line.
Martin’s career saw him go to nine Pro Bowls while committing just seven holding penalties. Quite the stat.
Cowboys teammates and fans along with Martin admirers in general shared their thoughts on social media after the announcement, with the overall mood being respectful of a surefire Hall of Fame career while disappointed the team around him never went further in the playoffs.
